Acoustic/Americana, singer/songwriter John McDonough has over twenty years experience performing in and around his hometown of Austin, Texas. Since retiring from psychotherapy in 2011, John has released three CD's of original music, played over 400 gigs, performed in ten music festivals, made several appearances on local radio, and toured the midwest and southwest. John's last two releases, 'Dreams and Imagination' and 'Surrounding Colors' both received great reviews and airplay all over the United States and Europe and both releases spent six straight months on the Americana Radio Chart in the United States. 2019 will be an exciting year for John as he will continue to gig all over Texas, release his latest CD, 'Can You See Me Now,' and tour the United States and Europe.
