Johnathan Foster | Reflection 2019 Tour | An Americana Singer-Songwriter Folk Concert

Forging his own American dream, singer-songwriter Jonathan Foster brings a roots blend of Folk-Americana music as a recording and performing artist. He is known for his soulful vocals, acoustic guitar and harmonica,  passionate delivery, off the beaten path introspective lyrics, and artist collaborations.  July 2019, marks the release of his 4th studio album Wildlife (Miracle Mile Records/After Hours Recorders) . Engineered by Bruce Turgon (Foreigner, Lou Gramm, Black Sheep) and joined by Morgan Hannaford (Muletown, Honeybee, Across the Grain) on pedal steel guitar and dobro with Scott Joss (Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakam) on fiddle for this 10-song long player. Foster revels in engaging listeners with his tunes both solo and occasionally with a band. He has spent much of his life travelling while touring small venues across the U.S. for the past 7 years. In his music you'll hear traces of his geographic meanderings and outdoor adventures with songwriter inspiration from John Prine, John Hiatt, Bob Dylan, James McMurtry, Todd Snider, Townes Van Zandt, Hayes Carll, Gillian Welch, Jason Isbell, Steve Earle, Neil Young, Natalie Merchant, and Warren Zevon.

His previous efforts include the 2017 Green Eyed Bird LP that includes the award winning song "Reclamation Town", a solo 18-song live album "American Highway Live" (2016), a prime collection of his previous 18 years of songwriting including many selections from the previous full length album "Help Me Run" (Miracle Mile Records 2015). Help Me Run, co-produced by Bruce Turgon, continues to showcase Jonathan's artistic taste in music and songwriting where the land, highway and people meet in vibrato. This was the follow up from his 2013 debut studio album "Sabbatical" (also produced by Foster & Turgon) featuring songs that explore the human experience from travel, love, humor, and disappointment.

Jonathan is a proud member of Folk Alliance International and loves to play his Martin HD28 six-string with Elixir nanoweb strings and breaths clumsily through Hohner Special 20 harmonicas to give you that full of folk live music experience in the classic American singer-songwriter style that resonates bicoastal from the Cascade to Adirondack mountains.
