Karl Javernig has been playing his own smooth style of jazz on a nylon string guitar for many years, with Jazz Daiquiri and now with Honey Hive. He has played all over the Blue Mountains and Sydney, at the Kiama Jazz Festival, Marysville Jazz Festival, and the UNESCO International Jazz Day in Wagga Wagga.

Rob Maxwell-Jones sings acapella bass with the Heavenly Light Quartet and does harmonies, saxophone, clarinet and low flute with the Promised Band and Leyla Nassif. He sings scat whenever he can get away with it. Rob also leads community choirs in Hazelbrook, Balmain and Mosman.

Karl and Rob are good friends (and it shows in their performances) and enjoy playing music together whenever they can.
