Kate Poitevin | Night With Author Kate Poitevin | A Local Literary Event

Kate lives in Spokane, WA in a 118 yr old fixer-upper with husband Jim, grandson Taylor, Murphy the orange cat, and grand-dog Brighid, a black and tan Chihuahua. They have three grown children, six grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and two granddaughters-by-choice. She is also blessed to be surrounded by the best group of friends in the world.
Born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, she graduated from Coeur d’Alene High. After a two-year stint in New Jersey and one in Seattle, she returned home and eventually she found Jim and they settled in Spokane in 1980.
Kate is a Regional Chieftain in the Irish Clan Cian and spends much of her summer weekends at Highland Games around the Pacific Northwest with her Celtic family. She is a member of the Tin Pencil Writers Group and Spokane Authors and Self Publishers and enjoys her memberships in Eastern Star and Amaranth.
She and Jim recently bought a sailboat fixer-upper and look forward to long weekends on the water.
