It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for, Chinese Laundry are bringing back the UV party for this hell crazy Friday night.
This edition we bring you a triple bass threat of Roleo, Empress Yoy and Autoclaws! These 3 heavyweights aren’t strangers to the bass scene; and are ready to go all out for this UV bass extravaganza!
ROLEO Part of the Daily Meds crew (Die High /Big Village) and host of the Frequence lab on FBI, Roleo has previously released 2 instrumental EP’s with Australia’s original beats label The Frequency Lab. Binge Beats in 2010, and Binge Beats Vol.2 in 2013 hinted towards an experimental taste in hiphop and future beats; earning the beatmaker tour supports for Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, Hermitude, Samiyam and more, as well as festival DJ slots at Peats Ridge, Subsonic and Sydney Festival. This is his first appearance at Chinese Laundry!
Empress Yoy: She's gained notoriety in OZ for her mixcloud selections and Trapstyle featured her first track 'Off The Chain' in their first flood compilation getting worldwide attention for the budding artist. I have it on good authority that the Empress will be road testing a couple of new tracks for her next original release at this gig. Also she is pretty. Somewhat irrelevant but it's nice for her.

Autoclaws Crankin’ heavy basslines are only one part of the deal with Sydney based badman Autoclaws. On a mission to enrapture crowds, Auto dominates across the entire palpitating bass subspecies, and while clubs are the crux, the studio is copping an absolute belting too. Emmanuel, the brain behind the bombs, comes alive all over the city and beyond – fearlessly stepping up to the plate with an arsenal of dark screaming synths and super quick mixes, it’s becoming a well-accepted reputation.
