Lena Rich | Something In Between Tour | An Emotionally Charged Singer-Songwriter

Credited with having, "a gift at capturing picturesque lyrics, an ability of distilling something complicated into something accessible to everyone," rising singer-songwriter Lena Rich produces upbeat rhythms and delivers poetic, emotionally charged lyrics with a truth echoed by her strong voice and acoustic guitar.  Since she got her start playing frequent shows at the après ski bar, The Rack BBQ, at Sugarloaf, ME, She has since gone on to share the stage with nationally touring artists such as Anais Mitchell, Antje Duvekot and bluegrass legend Tony Trischka. Lena has appeared at festivals such as Ossipee Valley Music Festival and played at venues such as One Longfellow Square, St. Lawrence Arts Center and Blue to name a few. Having played in a variety of bands (bluegrass, jazz and rock), Lena's original music features influences from many different genres. At the core of her inspiration are songwriters she grew up admiring, such as Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan. Lena recorded her debut EP, "Slow Motion" at The Studio in Portland, Maine. Following a successful release tour, Lena's 2018 debut full length album, "Something In Between," is now available on all online platforms. Lena's music has been featured on major New England stations such as Boston's 'The River' and Portland's, 'WCLZ'. "I love the feeling of playing my songs for an audience - I never know when or why a particular arrangement of chords and lyrics resonates with someone, but when it does, I feel the connection and that feeling is what keeps me writing and playing music."
