When a song is stripped back to its basic parts, played with minimal instruments and the audience likes that song it passes "the Beatles test”. Named so as “Beatles” tunes in their simpliest arrangement resonate with most audiences.
Every Wednesday night Misfts Bar and Dining hosts musical acts to perform their favourite cover material and "Beatles Test" their original work.
This is a great way to encourage the song writing efforts of hard working local talent and hear the beautifully written songs that form the basis of a working repertoire.
