Born and raised in Bowral in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Shane Flew has been playing the rooms, roads, and festivals of Australia for four decades — and the blues has been with him every step of the way.

Shane has toured and recorded alongside some of the most respected names in the business, including QED, Troy Cassar-Daley, Normie Rowe, and Alex Smith, and has written and released two solo albums in the Blues/Americana tradition. His voice carries the warmth and wear of someone who has truly lived inside the songs he sings.

In 2025, Shane and musical partner Matt Ross took out the Solo/Duo category at the Sydney Blues Society's Blues Challenge — hard-won recognition from a community that knows its blues.

He is also a sought-after frontman in some of Australia's finest tribute shows, celebrating Creedence Clearwater Revival, Neil Young, the Eagles, and the Woodstock era, bringing an authenticity that goes beyond imitation.

Armed with voice, guitar, and blues harp, Shane Flew delivers the real thing — forty years of road, rhythm, and soul, distilled into every song.
