NEW WAR
Dubbed one of Australia's most exciting acts & best live bands, Melbourne's New War will make a very RARE appearance headlining LO-FI // SCI-FI at the Chippendale Hotel on 19 December - their first Sydney show in over 3 years.
New War's last run of shows included ATP's I'll Be Your Mirror in Altona, Hobart's Mona Foma alongside the Sun Ra Arkestra, shows with the Julie Ruin, HTRK & Liars, as well as a UK tour including appearances at London's Rough Trade & Koko.
Having been holed up writing the follow-up to their widely acclaimed debut on All Tomorrow's Parties' label arm, ATP Recordings, the band will be playing new songs set to be recorded at the end of the year.

MILES BROWN
Miles Brown is Australia’s leading theremin player who also composes for the instrument. Best known as the leader of Melbourne horror synth heavyweightsThe Night Terrors, Brown has performed with renowned artists such as Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, Goblin and Black Mountain. Brown's solo work explores the theremin and synthesiser in the realm of darkwave, gothic disco and cosmic analogue electronics. His debut solo LP "Séance Fiction" will be released this December on Death Waltz Originals / It Records.

DCM
DCM is the experimental collaboration between Sydney artists Daniel Stricker (Midnight Juggernauts / Siberia Records) and Chris Ross (ex-Wolfmother). The dual synth adventurers explore their love of voltage, kraut-tinged electronica & Synthesis without computers. They have supported the likes of Wooden Shjips and will be their first live performance as the duo in over 3 years.

Buzz Kull is the moniker for Sydney musician Marc Dwyer whose sound is described as a cinematic blaze of darkwave, minimal synth & post punk.
Currently in the midst of completing the first Lp release "chroma" produced by Jonathan Schenke (parquet courts, frankie rose, pc worship, dirty beaches, eaters). The album is to be released in early 2016.

NOISE IN MY HEAD
Noise In My Head is a freeform sonic excursion hosted by Michael Kucyk. He is one of Australia’s most innovative DJ’s and radio hosts. The radio show began transmitting on Melbourne community broadcaster 3RRR 102.7FM on 3 December 2005, where it continued weekly until 24 February 2013. It has since existed as a monthly program on London online network NTS, sent long distance from Sydney, with intermittent podcasts.

SEX TOURISTS
Sex Tourists is a synth pop outfit featuring members of aloha units. It is the musical project of Sydney three piece Darius, Ewan and Nicola. The outfit offer some dark and brooding but extremely catchy music. The sound brings to mind fellow Sydney outfit Orion.
