Maame Music | Saving Grace | An Evening of Indie, R&B and Rock Music

Memorable melodies and catchy hooks, Maame is an upcoming independent artist in her own lane. Through her rise as a singer-songwriter Maame has been winning over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. She started out performing at open mic's such as Epicure Cafe and Gypsy Sally's to name a few.

In 2014, she continued her music studies in Nashville at Middle Tennessee State University ultimately finding her distinct sound. Maame's style of music traces back to her love of alternative rock, pop, ballads, and classic R&B. With her Nashville influences there is a trace of Americana and Folk ultimately creating a new sound for the DC music scene.

Maame currently resides in Washington DC where she partnered with TYFY Music Studios to record her commercial version of her composition, Saving Grace. With a small budget she self released it as her debut single the same year and received over 6000 streams on Soundcloud within three months. The single "Saving Grace: Radio Edit" has been featured on WDRB Media (iHeart Radio) in North Carolina, Excitement Radio in Florida, and Plan - A - Radio in California. January 2018 Saving Grace: Radio Edit has been featured on Vittek Tapes, a radio programmer in Europe that is aired in 89

stations within 32 countries around the world. Within one week of it's release it has been debuted at number 261 out of 520 songs and has been featured on the top 200 in it's fourth week on the Euro Indie Music Charts.

Maame possesses a distinct artistic gift. Maame's ability to write music in different genres and form them into caliber that is all her own is an original new sound that's ready to be shared with the world.
