Blue Mountains-based musician, Maizy Coombes, is well known for her role in bands such as Snail, Lime and Steel, and Tally Ho & the 10-to-Go’s, as well as appearances with many Blue Mountains performers. Using a loop pedal to create a unique soundscape, Maizy can bring out tears as you apply make-up or brush your teeth, yet still, leave you feeling contemplative and joyous. Maizy’s music encompasses the genres of Folk, Independent, Contemporary, and Alternative, with influences including Regina Spektor, Andrew Bird, and Ratatat.

Daniel Di Biase is a Blue Mountains-based folk, country, and bluegrass musician. His shows are rich with old folk tunes and bluegrass standards, as well as humbling and harrowing originals. He is one half of the folk duo Piccolo Bear, who have played various festivals and shows across Australia and Canada. A multi-instrumentalist, his skills shine in his banjo, mandolin, and guitar style. Daniel’s sorrowful and wise voice hovers warmly above it all, as he shares stories of beauty and pain.

Presented by 'Music in the Mountains', Aunty Ed's 'Sunday Session' is home to the best grooves you're going to find anywhere in the Blue Mountains.
