"As I Am (Take Me)", Maple's second single, expands on the intricate horn arrangements and catchy, clever songwriting that Maple first unveiled with “Woman (I Want My)” in 2025, whilst exploring bolder sonic choices and a notably sharper propensity for 70s soul music. The band's Motownesque take on a ballad is primed for release on March 13th. Two weeks later, on March 27th, Maple are celebrating its release with a party at Mojos Bar Freo - and you're invited.

Having only made their debut on streaming platforms last year with “Woman (I Want My)”, 2025 for Maple included a sold-out single launch, a support slot for international touring act O & The Mo, and being an opening act alongside Crooked Colours for internet sensations The Inspired Unemployed’s ‘Arrival’ app launch party. All this now serving as a platform to launch from, Maple have set their sights on 2026 as their year to make their mark on dancefloors near and far. March 27th at Mojos Bar for them is the beginning of this quest; joining Maple on this quest are hometown heroes Paperback Fort and Friends of the Family. This will not be one to miss!
