Part psychedelic, part baroque, and often drowned in synthesizers – MILD WEST has developed a distinctive musical aesthetic that ranges between upbeat pop and cinematic instrumentals.

First forming in 2017 as a three piece, the group released their debut EP Howler shortly after their first run of shows, and continued to develop their live performance into drawn out pseudo- medleys of their studio works. This soon led to the band picking up slots at Port Macquarie's Festival of the Sun through Triple J Unearthed, Byron Bay Falls Festival and Grow Your Own Music Festival by the end of their first year together.

The group has since seen the addition of two new members, allowing them to expand their sonic horizons with additional synths, cello, vocals, and guitar. These elements are put on display on their second EP Only Sleep which contains lush instrumentation whilst maintaining the hard hitting energy that Mild West was becoming known for. The band is currently in the final stages of producing their first full length album, which makes full use of their colourful wall of sound and showcases their most refined song writing to date. With a huge run of shows and big releases planned for 2022 MILD WEST should be one to have on your radar.

Shows will be standing and limited to 150 due to social distancing measures
Masks will be mandatory for all patrons and staff
All customers entering the premise must sign-in by providing accurate contact details via the venue's QR code sign in registry at the entrance of the venue which is designed specifically for contact tracing if necessary.
All patrons must be fully vaccinated and be able to display proof of vaccination upon entry
