We love any excuse to deck out our beloved World Bar in some decorations, so we decided to throw a little shindig to bring in the year of the Wood Horse!

Expect Fortune cookies, lanterns and I dunno, maybe some ninjas or some shit?

Some facts about Chinese New Year that we love, and think we should all live by to ensure a generally excellent year of parties:

1. Decorate your home to welcome in the New Year. Red is a popular colour as it scares away evil spirits and bad fortune.

2. Wear new clothes and ensure you are polite to others on the first day of the New Year – it sets the tone for the year to come

3. Celebrate New Year with a family dinner. Traditional dishes include uncut noodles – a symbol of longevity – and fish and chicken, symbols of prosperity. (Eating isn't cheating kids)

This is sure to be quite the partay so tag you and your pals name on the event wall for some list love.
