After nearly 6 years since their first, much adored record "Fountain of Struth", New Nausea are releasing their second LP entitled "Music for Frogs". This new record is a labour of love and meticulous crafting, it is both sincere and playful and their best work yet. Over the last few months New Nausea has released a handful of singles, a video clip animated by hand, a lyric video and have accumulated thousands of streams. Their shows have been drawing ever-growing crowds with the support of artists such as Stella Donnelly, Nicholas Allbrook, Grub, and Paint, to name a few, and their performances have been affecting and joyous (mainly thanks to their band mascot).

Joining the band to release the album will be three of their absolute favourite artists, Rabbit Island, Doctopus and Nika Mo. Rabbit Island is just totally unique and makes music that is about as beautiful as it gets, its a real and direct expression of her (Amber Fresh's) own singular and beautiful nature. Doctopus have been adored around Perth for over a decade, their fun, scrappy garage-rock exterior might grab your ear but its the human, relatable pathos that runs through all the songs that will make them matter to you. Lastly, Nika Mo is the ever-morphing, ever-evocative, never-ordinary project of (the frankly iconic) Annika Moses, and this evening we will be treated to a band in full force.

With supports of Jessica Pratt and Jebediah in their rear-view, and a huge year of performances ahead, New Nausea are at the peak of their powers, bringing to the stage excitement, catharsis, sadness, rage, the lot.

Come along and share an evening of some of WAs best independent talents.
