It is with a heavy heart we announce the farewell of a dear and old friend of ours, an accomplished act and a gentleman who has been digging through crates of music longer than some of us have been around.

James Taylor has a one way ticket to Thailand.

We felt it necessary to farewell him the best way we knew how, giving him the headline spot and letting him dish out a set of his favorite new and old tunes he’s encountered over the last 20+ years of playing music.

It was only fair to couple James with a man who’s time spans a similar history – Toby Neal. No stranger to riding the Sunday horse, Toby has been with us over the last three years a handful of times and always left us (and hopefully you as well) with nothing but pleasant sounds and warm feelings.

One half of the French duo - Grand Jeté will be making their Sunday debut and will be two messieurs to watch out for in the future!

So much can be said for James’ contribution to Sydney’s house scene. With bookings over the last two decades across the country, from back alley bars to festivals, early morning sunrise sets to late night sweaty clubs and conquering the airwaves on weekly radio residency James has truly become a local legend! Since the late 90’s Toby has found his way through Sydney’s music venues as well as productions on labels ‘Hussel Recordings’ (Ministry of Sound Australia) and ‘Spatula City’ (Chicago). From hip-hop to funk, soul and disco, straight up party bombs to more chilled out moody grooves, Toby pretty much has all bases tastefully covered.

Pull up a seat under the sprinklers and order yourself a $5 pizza while enjoying a $10 jug of beer or $15 jug of cider to one of Sydney’s standout acts from 2 till 4 in the afternoon.

While Jay is away overseas, Julian Wictor, the furry faced French fellow will be opening the terrace with a tasteful selection of moody and groove laden gems. Already making waves in Sydney with sets played out at Beach Haus, Crane Bar, Freda’s, Icebergs and Heaps Gay parties in support for HNQO and Patrick Topping. Their uplifting attitude and silky selections will see them certainly continue to spread a little French flair around for a little while longer.
