Nic Danta is a Katoomba-based singer-songwriter and one-time performer with the Spooky Men's Choral. Nic blends Dylan-style folk music with pop sensibility influenced by Billy Bragg and the Cure. Nic performed at the most recent Blue Mountains Folk Festival, is a regular performer in and around the mountains and has previously performed as part of Winter Magic and Katoomba Live and Local. Blue Mountains legend Matt Tonks will perform with Nic on guitar, piano and vocals. As a duo, they create moody and emotional music with lyrics that tell intimate stories of people and place. Nic will play songs from his recently released album, Buried at Sea.
