Nineteen is San Jose's professional jazz big band playing the widest variety of big band jazz in the south bay. Featuring vocalist Juanita Harris, they have performed everything from Ella Fitzgerald to Chaka Khan Tributes.

Nineteen has hosted concerts featuring Wayne Bergeron, Steve Gadd, Carl Saunders, Dave Liebman, Aaron Lington, Kris Strom, Chris Cain, Dave Weckl, Steve Smith, Jamie Davis, Russell Ferrante, Tom Kennedy, Brian Bromberg, Jeff Lorber, Ernie Watts, Jerry Bergonzi, Wayne Wallace and more. 

Nineteen is honored to be performing at the Art Boutiki on May 18th, performing a "Suite " concert. The suites being performed are Channel 1 suite and West Side Story Suite made famous by the Stan Kenton band and the Buddy Rich Band. We will also be performing the "Obama Suite" Written by our very own former trumpet player Eric Bolvin, who unfortunately passed 2 years ago, and we have a few surprises in store as well
