THIS SHOW IS STRICTLY 18+
Noah Kahan, the US singer-songwriter behind the current global smash ‘Hurt Somebody’ (with Julia Michaels), announces his first ever Australian headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne this June. The 21-year-old breakout artist will take in Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on Wednesday June 6th.
Produced by Grammy Award-winner Joel Little (Lorde, Khalid), Noah’s debut EP Hurt Somebody was released earlier this year to widespread acclaim. Lead single, ‘Hurt Somebody’ (with Julia Michaels), is a guitar-driven pop gem showcasing Kahan’s unique brand of stripped-back acoustic folk flair. The track featured in Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday Playlists around the world, launching it up the Global Viral Chart. It has since amassed more than 22 million streams, reached Top 10 airplay in Australia, and earnt the acclaim of Billboard who wrote, “it allows the songwriter to showcase his ability to blend mature themes with a folk-pop twist.”
Coming from humble beginnings in a small town of just over 1,000 people in Vermont, Kahan has already toured with likes of Ben Folds, Milky Chance, Lauv and Anderson East and was recently chosen to support George Ezra on his US tour this April/May. If that weren’t enough for the rising star, Noah recently made his US television debut, performing ‘Hurt Somebody’ on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Noah Kahan won’t be playing such intimate rooms for long, so get in while you can to catch this extraordinary talent live when he lands in Australia in June.
