We’re at it again Rochester!

OK Motels is heading back to Rochy to fill your cup with equal parts friendship and country charm. We’ve been planning your warm welcome with the loveable locals, making it feel just right for a day worth the trip. The schedule is jam-packed with something for everyone, so come ready to celebrate the town and each other. We’re going round and round from gig to gig between all of the fine establishments of Rochy, so put on your best pub steppers and let’s go.

Reunite with a few old favourites from last year, and some new ones you’ll like just as much. The Rochy Shire Hall is having a one-day-only rebrand to the Rochy Hall of Friendship, where you can celebrate your old mates and make new ones. When you’re well acquainted, seal the deal at Marry Your Friends, and we’ll help you make a zine or a badge to immortalise your friendship and deliver it to your door. Have a bite and a chat at the Tell Your Friends You Love Them Speed Friending and Devo Tea, where the locals are serving up warm, fluffy scones with all the extras. If you want to take a glimpse over the friendship horizon, we’ve got Friend Fortune Telling. If now, rather than the future, is more your thing, get out your dance card, grab a mate and learn to line dance at Disco Rodeo.

There are heaps of other things happening around town. Sip Shop will take you for a wander through Rochy’s local gems to drink the best on offer from local wineries, breweries and distilleries. Flip through the glossy mags at the newsagent’s with a G&T in hand. Take in the nostalgic scent of footy leather at Sportspower with a beer to boot. If you want to wander a little further, jump on Wayne’s Mural Walk to unlock a few well-kept secrets and learn about the murals speckled throughout town. Once we’re all done for the day, we’ll make our way to the magical outdoor OK Headliner Diner to share some tales, raise a glass and plate, and witness a special musical memory all together.

We’ve got food for all tastes and times of the day, including a classic Lion Club sausage sizzle, counter meals at the pubs, and fast-moving steak sangas from the Rochester Fish Shop. Get them while they’re hot, they went quick last year.

What about the music then? We’ll share that soon, but here’s a hot tip. We’ve got names coming from all over. Canada, the USA, New Zealand, the Northern Territory, New South Wales, and, it goes without saying, a goodie bag of local legends.

Don’t miss this one. Rochy’s ready for you.
