Pace Randolph is a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Sydney's Inner West. His music draws from a wide range of genres and is inspired by various artists from The Police and Chris Stapleton, to Rihanna and Green Day. The diversity of influences underpins his music, while his soulful voice ties it all together.
In 2020 he released his debut EP Full Contact after a run of shows through Sydney, Paris and London. To challenge himself and to keep motivated during the pandemic, Pace spent the first two months of the lockdown writing a song every day and sharing it online. This eventually led to his rapid growth on TikTok, where he currently has over 140K followers and millions of views.
His mixtape 'Pace 2020: an aspiring imperfectionist' was released in January 2021 and celebrates the year that put his music on the map. The first single on the mixtape 'Push You Further' was a collaborative project with his fans. He created a choir with hundreds people singing along to the chorus through TikTok duets and compiled them together. These were added to the production to create a cheeky anthem that features the first ever TikTok choir in a time of isolation. The music video for this song took out top spot in that year's Pivot Film Festival, securing both the 'Best Song' and 'Best Music Video' categories.
Since the release of his mixtape, he has steadily been releasing music and collaborating with his fans, creating several choirs of up to 500 people to feature in his music. Pace has performed multiple sold out shows in his hometown, Sydney over the past two years and is looking forward to taking on the whole country this year.
