Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Periscope’s sound is an uniquely familiar blend of guitar-driven alt-rock, psychedelic synth aesthetic, and pop sensibility. The experience is definitely their own, but drips with nostalgia and nods to the wide range of influences that helped resurface their sonic profile. Musing about life, love, and what it all means in the shadow of the pre-apocalyptic landscape we all currently inhabit - Periscope challenges us to dive deep into the things that make us human, and how to honor and celebrate both the pain and the pleasure of our existence through music and lyrics.
