To celebrate the release of their upcoming album ‘Pros, Cons & Prawns’, alt punk trio Pink Goldfish are playing a rare show at the Rosemount Hotel’s Four5Nine Bar on Friday, 1st September.
The show will mark the band’s first live appearance in over six years, having since undergone a line-up change and spending much of that time recording and releasing a backlog of material across two previous EPs and an album.
‘Pros, Cons & Prawns’ promises to be their best work yet, with their song writing now finely tuned and their sound taking on a darker, more serious feeling. As ever though, you can still expect a heavy helping of riffs, some well-seasoned melodies and a fine coating of wit to this delectable catch of tracks.
The album launch will see the band performing songs off the new album along with a few old favourites, and they will be joined on the night by some of Perth’s finest purveyors of indie, rock & punk in Lounge Tourist, Shortcut & Unicorn.
Who knows if or when you’ll have the chance to see Pink Goldfish or a line-up this scrumptious ever again…better not take any chances!
