Remedy was founded early in COVID-19 isolation following some DJ banter between PHDNB (Perth) and Aradale (Brisbane), which led to the first Coast2Coast DJ battle live stream. Defyre (Perth) joined Remedy after the first event, bringing his 17 years of experience in the Hip Hop and Drum & Bass scenes to the team. We have hosted 7 Coast2Coast online events between the Australian cities Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney, and 1 DnB Throwdown online event between the Aussie Allstars and a UK crew. We have invited 10 of the Coast2Coast DJs back for our launch into live gigs; 8 hailing from different pockets of the Perth Drum & Bass community, 1 from Brisbane Drum & Bass, and 1 from Sydney Drum & Bass. Instead of our usual format, we will be hosting b2b’s for the event, though most have not been matched before
