President of Dangerously Poetic Press, Laura Jan Shore has facilitated their Byron Bay reading series since 2000. Laura’s poetry has appeared in literary magazines and anthologies on four continents including Black Ink's, Best Australian Poems 2013. Her collection, Breathworks, was launched at the Byron Bay Writers Festival in 2002. She won the 2006 CJ Dennis “Open Poetry” Literary Award, 2009 FAW John Shaw Nielson Award, 2012 Martha Richardson Poetry Award and second prize in Melbourne Poet's Union 2013 Award. Her latest book, Water over Stone, won IP Picks Best Poetry 2011, Interactive Press, Brisbane.
