DJ Turnstyle hails from the Twin Cities/Minnesota USA. He began to become familiar with the local club/house/rave scenes in the mid 1990’s and mainly developed a reputation in the Twin Cities as well as abroad as a House dancer but eventually found his way into being a House Music DJ.
DJ Turnstyle’s style is mainly dance and mix-centric giving the crowd driving beats and grooves with tight blends that harken back to the original pioneers of the genre who wanted to tell a story with their music selections and take the crowd on a journey.

DJ Turnstyle was given the chance to perform for the first time at Club Lush after being introduced to FNK. Shortly thereafter, DJ Turnstyle co-piloted a two year residency at Ginger Hop Bar & Grill with DJ Kirkabee called "The Housewarming". Other featured guest spots include Jeff Swift's monthly event "House Proud" as well as DJ Dan Laino’s "Blended Beatz" and Kimani Beard’s Winter Cypher and Summer Cyper festival as well as Prairie Fyre outdoor festival.
DJ Turnstyle continues to DJ and dance locally as well as abroad at various events, festivals and competitions.
