We are proud to announce the return of instrumental, sample-based hip-hop producer, RJD2 to EMPIRE on February 17, 2017 with a LIVE BAND!!!

RJD2 needs no introduction. The innovative producer's 10-year career reached a marked turning point in 2009 after he scored "A Beautiful Mine," the popular theme to the hit AMC television series, Mad Men.

He's assimilated unlikely genres (funk, soul, hip-hop, singer/songwriter) and explored them so comfortably that fans who discovered him with Deadringer are likely as confused as someone who orders peanut butter and gets jelly. Together, this is likely to come across as eclectic madness to folks obsessed with new sounds... but his latest album More Is Than Isn't is an extraordinarily well-paced survey of all the sounds under the RJD2 banner.

Those who have seen him perform before won’t need convincing that this show should not be missed, but if you only know of him from the Mad Men theme song, your ears and eyes are in for a real treat.
