Roderick August is a singer songwriter by way of California, Tennessee and New York. Steeped in folk, blues and rock, he has been a multi instrumentalist all his life with a particular liking for piano and guitar. There is an explosiveness to his vocals and an originality to the music that also glides nicely into more intimate performances. He settled in Brooklyn in 2018, and has been a regular touring act throughout the states.
