RUNNING OUT OF NUNS RELEASE DEBUT SINGLE ‘MONSTERS’ AT 459 BAR, NORTH PERTH

Perth-based hyper-meta-dud-rockers, Running Out of Nuns are releasing their debut single, Monsters, with a launch show at 459 Bar, North Perth. The song draws comparisons to elements of Nirvana and Greenday, with dissonant undertones topped with soaring and memorable vocals and guitar lines. Running Out of Nuns is an unapologetically rough, and pleasantly chaotic rock-punk 3-piece outfit from Perth.

With face-melting guitar solos, inappropriately comfortable vocals and lyrics, and dynamic drumming, their music blends the sounds of QUOTSA, The Chats, Muse, A Swayze & The Ghosts, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Nirvana. Kicking around Perth playing a various venues, laneways and house parties, sharing drunk tales and warning people of a possible pelican scourge, the group has crafted their music and performances to entertain and deliver short and snappy songs.

"I'm just glad he's out of the house doing something" - Ben's mum "Running out of nangs?!" - Josh's drug dealer
