An evening of immersive lighting with performing artists from Mexico, Netherlands & Australia in back lane underground Melbourne venue, Whitehart Bar.
NEON is a sensory experience where light and music meet as one in a cocktail of visual & audio feasting. This will be the first installment of the event with plans of more to come.
Neon is a music and arts crossover event that utilizes lighting from BAD IDEA FACTORY (Rainbow Serpent & Pitch Fest) and blends it with contemporary music of global artists playing genres of house & Techno.
A space takeover exploring futuristic lighting concepts with music integration. Using Resolume and DMX controls, the lighting will be synced with with music to create pulse & rhythm.

Set in underground venue Whitehart Bar, the bar's Shipping container structure set the back drop to venue lighting with synced LED tubing and visuals. It's a lighting installation not normally seen in Whitehart Bar and set up specifically for the event.

Técnica de Bombo (Si Fixion - Digital Afrika) is a melbourne music producer with a long history of live electronic music. He plays Afro & Latin House and runs melbourne residency Ethnik Futurism. He plays in The Bird and in Papuan New Guinea band Soronag Samarai as well as MElbourne's Digital Afrika
Vollqen is a DJ and mathematician from Mexico City.
Her sets include Disco, Deep House and Techno. Inspired from the thriving & dynamic underground scene in Mexico City and her time living abroad in Berlin, Vollqen skills range from Visual Arts to mathematician. She is a laser designer and performer for festivals Strawberry Fields, Babylon & Paradigm.

Ruff Nites is a Dutch DJ and Music Producer.Co Fouder of HutjeMutje (mean.Cabin) he is currently based in Melbourne for a year. HutjeMutje is a cabin party set up in European Festivals housing some the the better DJ's in the Dutch scene.
