There was a time when people used to go to a pub on a Sunday arvo and listen to what some local band called 'music' (but was considered offensive to anyone who was in earshot). Well, Hotel Blue is a historic guesthouse (not a pub) and some of the best musicians in Australia happen to live in The Blue Mountains. Jocelyn Moen is a a hard artist to pin down – is she jazz? Cabaret? Singer-songwriter? Acapella? Well, really, she is all of these. She sings in French (and English of course), plays the piano, sings forgotten songs of the past and endears the audience with original quirky tunes that will have you asking why ‘you put an apple in my hat.’ She is an absolute Aussie gem – check her out!!!
