The rough-but-sweet-voiced kid from Rio’s favelas plays a signature mix of transformative pop covers (you may remember his sublime Portuguese-language Bowie interpretations in The Life Aquatic), alongside swinging original tunes flavoured with samba, reggae, Brazilian pop and electronics.
