After what can only be described as a kick-ass debut on Easter weekend last year, The Blurst Of Times Festival is now returning for 2014, presented by Sailor Jerry, The Music & FasterLouder. The event will be taking over three of Brisbane’s best venues, The Brightside, The Brightside carpark and The Zoo, on October 18.

With whispers on the horizon of the festival expanding to the south in coming years, Brisbane punters are lucky enough to yet again have the first bite of the apple. Last year saw Violent Soho and Velociraptor head up the bill, alongside crowd pleasers Bored Nothing, Scott & Charlene’s Wedding, Drunks Mums, Gung Ho and more.

An even more exciting lineup is promised for this year’s event, with the first announce set to drop when tickets go on sale on August 11. With everything from jangly pop to raucus punk, lo-fi to even lower-fi, organiser's from The Fans Group and Destroy All Lines are tapping into a market with an increasingly wide appeal.
