Peter Long and Stephen Waters of The Winstons have performed a vast array of music over many years of live performances in venues across the country. Their collective love of 1960s and 70s pop through to the alt and indie rock of the 80s and 90s has endeared them to audiences in the Blue Mountains and beyond, with regular appearances from the venues in the central west all the way down to Sydney. Never ones to let a guitar solo get in the way of a good melody, Pete and Steve are both avid fans and performers of popular music’s finest moments.

Their 60s repertoire covers material from the Beatles, Kinks and Rolling Stones through to Cream, The Doors and The Who, with their 1970s catalogue ranging from David Bowie and T-Rex through to Badfinger and Mott The Hoople. Acts from the 1980s include The Cure, The Pixies, Grant Lee Buffalo and Soft Cell and more recently they’ve performed songs from artists such as Radiohead, Oasis, The Lemonheads and The Smithereens. Throw in a few Aussie classics from Russell Morris, Daddy Cool, The Church and Icehouse and you have the most accessible and entertaining show this side of the mountains.

Presented by 'Music in the Mountains', Aunty Ed's 'Sunday Session' is home to the best grooves you're going to find anywhere in the Blue Mountains.
