SESSION 1 - MAX LOCKITT - DOORS OPEN AT 5:30PM

MAX LOCKITT PERFORMANCE - 6PM

Max arrives at his final graduation recital after 5 years of studying Contemporary Music at WAAPA. Whilst completing this course, Max has begun his career in the Perth music scene in original groups Camomile Queen, Moth, Finn Pearson, and numerous cover bands. Whilst drawing on his influences such as The Beatles and blues guitarists of the 60s and 70s, Max will also present pieces from composers more out of his comfort zone that he has been lucky enough to study at WAAPA, such as jazz titan Pat Metheny. 

SESSION 2 - GUS McKENZIE - DOORS OPEN AT 6:50PM

GUS McKENZIE PERFORMANCE - 7:10PM

Gus is a passionate and dedicated guitar player who has seen many different sides to the industry since falling in love with music at age 10. Having studied music all through high school, attending the WAAPA contemporary program was the perfect next step. Gus’s Recital is a culmination of his last ten years of exploring the world of music, and he cannot wait to join some of his best mates and favourite musicians on stage at the Rosemount.

SESSION 3 - ELIZA KAN - DOORS OPEN AT 8:00PM

ELIZA KAN PERFORMANCE - 8:20PM
Eliza is an indie-folk, alternative and pop vocalist graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing arts after studying four years in contemporary music. With a warm and inviting tone, Eliza draws inspiration from artists such as Joni Mitchell and Katie Noonan as well as traditional English and Irish folk music. Eliza hopes to bring you a night of fun and unique music that she adores, and hopes you do to. Covering artists from around the world, Eliza takes you from New Zealand to Ireland, with a super groovy band accompanying her too!

SESSION 4 - KAYLA BEATTIE-GOHRT - DOORS OPEN AT 9:10PM

KAYLA BEATTIE-GOHRT PERFORMANCE - 9:30PM
Kayla Beattie-Gohrt is a blossoming vocalist in her final year of the Contemporary Music course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Kayla’s interest in music started from a very early age, she took turns with multiple instruments before landing on vocals as her main passion. After five long years studying Kayla will be delivering an authentic night of arrangements rooted in the first genre she ever loved: rock. Taking influence from an array of artists including, Heart, Radiohead and Karnivool, her drive and commitment to her craft guarantees an inspiring night of polished music.


Please note: An individual ticket for one performing artist is valid for their performance only. After each performance, tickets for the next performance will be checked. If you would like to attend all shows, please purchase an 'All Night Ticket'.
