James Lilly - 6pm

James Lilly is a Jazz inspired Rock and Blues guitarist graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) after 4 years studying Contemporary Music. His expressive and powerful guitar playing is inspired by guitar styles from the late 60s and early 70s. Performing around Perth for the past 6 years at events including Wamfest 2017, Morning Melodies at His Majesty Theatre (2021) and playing in a number of original groups performing a range of genres including psychedelic, punk rock and indi. James has established himself as a versatile and creative guitarist who is hoping to make a living out of his passion for music. 

Joel Dalton - 7:05pm 

Joel Dalton will be finishing of his 4 years of studying at WAAPA with an exciting night of instrumental music. Joining Joel will be Ben Lazzaro on guitar, Blake Weller on bass, Trevor Stockton on keys and specials guests Madoc Plane and the contemporary gospel choir. Joel will be performing originals and works from musicians Richard Spaven and Dave Weckl.


Ben Lazzaro - 8:10pm 

Join up and coming contemporary guitarist Ben Lazzaro as he performs a selection of original and cover material to celebrate the end of his time at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Ben will showcase a diverse set of repertoires to the likes of Mike Stern, Steely Dan, John Scofield, The Yellow Jackets and Gilad Hekselman with his phenomenal band.


Trevor Stockton-Rice - 9:15pm

Trevor is versatile keys player who has been working in the Perth Music Scene for half a decade, involving himself in multiple musical projects that encompass a large array of musical genres. Influenced and inspired by the likes of James Francies, Benny Green, Stevie Wonder, and Chick Corea; Trevor has developed a passion for contemporary RnB, modern/latin and traditional Jazz during his time at WAAPA. Hoping to showcase this passion at his Graduation Recital, Trevor will be performing an intense and eclectic range of musical styles with a phenomenal ensemble of local musicians.
