Kristie McCarthy is an Australian artist manager at Lemon Tree Music where she works with The Cat Empire and producer Andy Lawson. Lemon Tree Music’s roster also includes the likes of Tash Sultana, Tones and I, Budjerah, Kita Alexander and more. Kristie has seven years’ experience in corporate agency marketing and got her start in the music industry at Billions Australia where she worked in logistics and administration on tours for Nick Cave, Bon Iver, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Sleater Kinny, Sufjan Stevens and more. She began her artist management journey in 2018, joining Lemon Tree Music as a Day Manager working with Tash Sultana, Riley Pearce, Garrett Kato, Maddy Jane and Willow Beats. In a few short years, Kristie became a Senior Artist Manager signing her own artists including Death by Denim, Andy Lawson and managing the new era of The Cat Empire. Fast forward 6 years and Kristie is now the Head of Artist Management for Lemon Tree Music working closely with labels, booking agents, publicists, and partners around the globe to further the careers of LTM’s roster.
Graduating from WAAPA (West Australian Academy of Performing Arts) as the Arts Management Students Organisations President for her cohort, Veronica has worked across various management, marketing, booking, journalism, and coordinator positions at varying scales, nationally. These include Event Coordinator for Listen Out, Artist Liaison at Laneway, Listen Out, Spin Off, Heaps Good, and Leavers, Brand Manager/ Writer for Pilerats, Production Manager at theatre company ACT Australia, to being the singer/ guitarist and songwriter for her self-managed band Dolce Blue. Currently Veronica is the label manager Blue Grey Pink, running publicity for BGP PR, working freelance events, continuing to do all things Dolce Blue, performing in the band Odlaw, whilst continuing her studies with a Graduate Diploma of Education.
