A night of contemporary groove music with two fabulous bands creating fresh sounds and grooves influenced by Jazz, Afro-Beat, Funk, Popular and Latin musics.
‘The Dog’ is the primary vehicle of expression for bassist Cameron Undy. There studio album ‘Mad Stream’ was described as “Something approaching improvised perfection.” (SMH) Live there is something even more expansive and energetic about this band. This rare blend of odd time danceable grooves and singable melodies is infectious.
