After her sold out performances in 2014, we are excited to bring back Yolanda Rabun this year for an all-star performance. Singing soulfully with power and a natural storytelling instinct, Yolanda Rabun stuns and transforms audiences because Yolanda sings with probing intelligence and passion. This chart-topping recording artist, and NC-based award-winning attorney and professional actor, in 2011, released “So Real”, and transferred her energetic spirit into her debut CD project, bringing her personal experiences to life for all to listen. Rabun co-wrote several songs, including the title song “So Real”, which garnered the #1 Soul Jazz Song, a 7-week run on the UK Soul Top 30 chart, and 50,000+ YouTube views.

Nancy Wilson, Nina Simone and Gladys Knight are major musical influences of Yolanda Rabun, who has opened for Jennifer Holiday, played the main stage of several festivals, including the Atlanta Jazz Festival, sang with Howard Hewitt and traveled the world to Japan, South Korea, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, and Jordan delivering her sultry blend of smooth jazz and soul. In 2012, Yolanda continued to turn her unique soulful jazz style into something very real with her sophomore album, “Christmastime” that landed her immediate radio airplay, a Florida tour and an extended opening performance for Ron Isley and the Isley Brothers to a sold out audience in the world-class Durham Performing Arts Center. Christmastime infused Soul, R&B, Gospel, Folk, and Smooth and Traditional Jazz into classic holiday songs and became a chart favorite.

This NC based vocalist emerged in 2013 with “Hold on To Your Dreams” that made top 100 contemporary songs and crossed genres with blends of R&B, Soul, Jazz, Gospel and Pop.
