Started around 1998, Groovescooter is a Sydney based record label, events production house, film sync/distro service and promotional co-op. In-house events include regular film premieres, a live talks series called In Conversation and a recurring music-meets-art exhibition called ArtGroupie. Largely run by a couple of longtime music and cinema-obsessed friends who also work as club DJs, arts journalists, radio presenters and publicists, aside from their two weekly radio shows, they work with a number of local festivals to bring quality, independent and underrepresented visuals/audio from around the world to a wider domestic audience.
