Health Club, a Queensland native (born Lucas Reid) found music early-on, learning guitar and teaching himself synths and drums in high school. He later found solace in the endless possibilities of Ableton and digital creation. Having taken inspiration from David Bowie, Hot Chip, and Cut Copy, Reid has combined a love for pop and house structures with a harmonic injection of RnB, disco, and soul. With years of DJing under his belt supporting the likes of Running Touch and Young Franco, Health Club’s natural habitat lays within collaboration and songwriting with vocalists, bands and other producers. After welcoming his daughter in 2015, Health Club at just 24-years old is eyeing off a
bright future as the go-to for this generation’s most infectious and electronically infused pop hits.
