Dallas based DJ, producer and vocalist, Kaylin King (KK) but more well known by her stage name, indigo, is an upcoming EDM (electronic dance music) artist whose goal is to help people heal through music. Kaylin was born and raised in Southern California where she started writing poems and songs, she was in choir and played in middle school band while balancing soccer and lacrosse until 2012 when her family relocated to the suburbs of Dallas. She continued to write and sing on her own time but only had time to pursue her athletic extracurriculars which would lead her to Texas State University for college. It was there where she discovered the EDM scene and fell in love. KK started working behind the scenes at different shows in San Marcos and Austin while attending Texas State. Kaylin’s forever dream of making her own music became possible when she introduced her friends to her DJ persona “indigo” at the end of 2018. Her sets bring you through a healing journey, with drops to shake your soul and lyrics to heal your heart indigo mixes melodic dubstep, darker EDM tones and other genres of EDM. Indigo’s unique make up of glitter under her eyes and a crystal at her third eye with her unapologetic dance moves while DJ-ing creates an environment where you can authentically be yourself. Bringing these vibes to every stage she has performed on, indigo would be blessed to have the opportunities to perform at different venues all over Texas.
