Isabella Piper—the leading lady behind the ISY ISY moniker—was born into a family of musicians and raised at sea until her teenage years. Never confined to creative barriers, she explores herself, others and the world in whatever manner expresses it best—be it softly-spoken over floating synths or a tell-it-like-it-is call-out.
The constants throughout it all? Electrifying bass, lush vocals and a strength that shines through every word. It’s contagious.
Her debut EP, “Levels”, is the culmination of years of creative development and an unashamedly eccentric take on electronic pop. It contains her two released tracks, ‘All The Time’ and ‘Set Me Free’, which collectively, have received critic support from tastemakers Stoney Roads, Pilerats and triple j.
ISY ISY is also a proud, founding member of Common Good—an artist-led collective headed up by Billy Fox providing touring,
writing, collaboration and mental health support for Sydney artists including Nocturnal Tapes, Sparrows, LOVER, Mookhi, Ross Henry, Self Tape and Reggie Banks.
Live, ISY ISY is another force all together. Performing as a three- piece, two-piece or solo act, she demands control and attention from her audience with her booming voice and electronic tension. She has since gone on to support G Flip, Nocturnal Tapes, Billy Fox, Ross Henry and Left Projects.
