Queen of all things breaky and ravey, Karmel Jäger is a former professional classical singer turned DJ/ Producer.
Hailing from Sydney and previously based in London, she's gone from touring and working as a session singer at Abbey Road Studios to producing and releasing on labels such as Extra Spicy, Tooflez Muzik and Lost Palms, and DJing on support for the likes of Stanton Warriors, Denham Audio, Dr Dubplate, Bush Baby and DJ Jackum. Her most recent EP “Laundry in Berlin” just released on Big Ting Recordings, featuring a remix from Eluize.
Karmel's sets are high energy spanning grime, ravey techno and breakbeats, and often include unexpected moments that might be anything from hiphop to a Mozart remix.
