Kendall Layt is a jazz trained double bassist, who’s ADHD led him down the rabbit hole of electronic music and production. He’s travelled all around the country doing his usual bass duties, but his favourite project is his own original music dubbed ‘emo dance music’ and ‘depression disco’. His music has has become an evolved and unusual style of dark lyrical concepts accompanied by electronic dance music beats to deceive every audience into dance party mode, blissfully unaware of the journey they take through his concept EPS. As a transgender man and advocate for queer artists, his music has taken an equally as transitional journey from acoustic music, to the impossible fictional dream of Bronski Beat influenced sounds with the lyrical influence of My Chemical Romance.
