Land Systems is the industrial dance and ambient-infused techno project of Sydney-based producer Nathan Moas.
His music combines distortion and grit with lush melodies to explore the more vulnerable and untamed aspects of dance music.
At the heart of the project is a well curated modular synthesizer that is sampled and processed alongside computer-based softwares.
Land Systems also draws on his deep knowledge of classical music and music theory as well as his experience as a mixing engineer to create sounds that are immersive and captivating.
Since the project's inception back in 2016, Land Systems has explored many sounds: from the warmth and vastness of synth-based ambient music to the harsher, noisy tones that belong to the club.
In 2022, Land Systems has been in the process of working with vocalists to bring his sound to a more song-based, pop environment.
