LYNCHPiN was formed in 2009 out of the desire to create heavier and darker music than the individuals’ past bands and to return the attitude and energy of the thriving late-90s Trinidadian rock scene. Since then, LYNCHPiN has become one of the most hard-working, popular and professional metal bands in the region, due to the combination of their professional and determined attitude, destructive live show and ‘Caricore’ – the band’s electrifying blend of death, groove and deathcore coloured by their Caribbean musical accent. This resulted in 2016 and 2017’s milestones:
 First band to win the inaugural Wacken Open Air: Metal Battle – Caribbean competition
 First Caribbean band to perform at the world-famous Wacken Open Air festival in Germany
 First Caribbean metal band to perform at Amsterdam’s ‘The Cave’
 First Caribbean metal band to sign to the LA/Suriname-based Dead Sea Records Caribbean
