DJ, producer, party thrower and label head, Mikekon has had his hands full with house and dance music from an early teenager.

Influenced early in his career by the underground music coming out of New York, Chicago and Detroit, Mike crafted his skills in Sydney/Eora’s local Club Scenes well as travelling interstate and overseas gigging.

His skillset has also led to curating runway shows and events for fashion houses Aje, Comme Moi, Christopher Esber and Shona Joy, as well as original production for leading Australian fashion and lifestyle brands marketing campaigns.

A desire to create his own music label led to the formation of WIP Music. The intention was to provide a platform for local and international artists to express themselves freely, create and engage with like minded people who support underground dance music in a safe space.
