I write songs and strum the guitar. Then I wander around and let serendipity lead me to all kinds of people in all kinds of places and invite them to #justshowup to random things for random reasons. I have been doing the latter literally and figuratively since I was born; the curse of the wanderlust.
I have been doing the former since I first landed in NYC from Chicago when I wrote songs as a way to teach myself the guitar. Open mics in tiny gritty village bars led to fronting alt-rock bands in bigger gritty village bars to singer-songwriter troubadour-dom to multiple musical projects. These tendencies came to a head in recent years to form a quirky beautiful growing virtual musical village of collaborators and co-conspirators. What resulted is “Cowboys&Aliens”, a debut of happy accidents, by this wonderful ragamuffin of a band dubbed Trio Of Awesuhm. (www.facebook.com/trioofawesuhm). Since its release in April 2019, its been featured on over 100 radio stations in over 20 countries and counting. Highly received for its songwriting, musicianship and production quality.
