Australian/Hong Kong music producer Nightjarr, enjoys creating an immersive world of intricate sounds with melodies that weave in and out effortlessly. She released her debut single “Fall For You” in 2020, which was played on Triple J Unearthed, FBi Radio, SBS Chill and Mooncake/3RRR.
Her 2nd release “East Esplanade” premiered on FBi Radio in August. In “East Esplanade”, she samples traditional Chinese instruments, mixed with downtempo, chillout electronica. She samples the Tanggu drum, the traditional drum used in Chinese Lion Dancing. She also shot & edited the film clip as an extension of her music concept. The track was featured on Acid Stag blog, 823 newsletter and playlisted on various FBi Radio shows.
She previously DJ’ed at Tiger Beats Festival, SYS Sister Sounds takeover at Since I Left You Bar. Her next DJ set will be at Block Party Neon Playground Oct 15th. https://neonplaygroundsyd.com.au
